Regulations on clear space – Lock-up
“Regulations on clear space” are rules on the minimum area of the margin around the Nidec Logo or the lock-up. The purpose of these regulations is to ensure the visibility of the logo and the lock-up. When using the Nidec Logo or the lock-up, always secure a margin of clear space equal to or larger than the minimum area defined here, and ensure that the margin is free from other design elements. A sufficient margin of clear space must also be maintained when the Nidec Logo or the lock-up is placed in corners of documents or images. Regulations on clear space – Lock-up

Regulations on clear space – Lock-up
The lock-up consists of the Nidec Logo combined with the Corporate Slogan, “All for dreams,” based on a specific ratio. Active use of the lock-up on application items (see Chapter B) can convey the Nidec Group’s corporate message directly to the viewer. The Corporate Slogan, “All for dreams,” must be used with the Nidec Logo, and must not be used alone, or with other brand logos. Do not alter the horizontal to vertical ratio shown to the left when using the lock-up. Do not combine the Nidec Logo with any character elements or company other than the Corporate Slogan, “All for dreams.” Minimum size for representation

Control Techniques logo scaling & usage #1
There are logo files (jpeg and eps) with both the Nidec and Control Techniques logos stacked for use on website’s and marketing literature. The clearance (0.38X height of the Nidec name) needs to be maintained on all four sides. When used with the Nidec logo, the capital letters of Control Techniques logo have to half the ‘e’ (or less) in the Nidec logo (except the ‘Q’ which is bigger) – dimension ‘a’

Control Techniques logo scaling & usage #2
When used with the Nidec logo, the capital letters of Leroy-Somer and Control Techniques can only be as high as half the ‘e’ in the Nidec logo (except the ‘Q’ which is bigger) – dimension ‘a’ When a single historical logo is used directly alongside the Nidec logo, the bottom of Control Techniques or Leroy-Somer should be on the same axis as the bottom of ‘Nidec’ from the Corporate lock-up logo a When both the Control Techniques and Leroy-Somer logos are used together, the space between them should be equal to the height of capital letters (not including the ‘Q’ which is bigger) When used next to the Nidec Corporate lock-up logo, the bottom of ‘Leroy-Somer’ should be on the same axis as the top of the ‘All for dreams’ tag tine

Background: Corporate colors
The Nidec green ‘symbol color’ & black ‘sub color’ convey the Nidec Group’s corporate image effectively Actively use these corporate colors to represent the Nidec logo & also as base or accent colors Note: there can be variations of the Nidec green shading if you mix color types * To ensure colors match when using multiple logos, ensure the same color type is used for each logo *color types = PANTONE, CMYK, RGB etc.
