Prayer for Your Future Ephesians 3:14-17

1. I pray for all of you to be saved.

“For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom
every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that according to His glorious riches he may

strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner
being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.”

Your salvation begins with God.

Remember that this is a spiritual transformation,
not a religious reformation.

And the most beautiful thing that happens
when this spiritual transformation comes about is that Jesus makes His home in your heart.

His presence in your heart means you will always be a prayer away from the strength you need to overcome and conquer anything that comes against you! Forever!

Notice that it says, according to His riches,
not out of His riches.

that you can be filled with the fullness of God.
I pray that all who are followers of Jesus may know personally the greatness of God’s love for you so that you can be filled with the fullness of God.

“And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the LORD's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love

of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses
knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

Here is the secret to a victorious Christian life-to experience and know the greatness of God’s love for you.

The root, the foundation of the Christian life is the knowledge of God’s love for us.

This requires that you spend a lot of time with the Spirit in prayer and Bible study to discover the greatness and the vastness of God’s love for YOU

And you will need to keep reminding yourself
of it every day so that you can be an overcomer!

The cross pointed in four ways, essentially in every direction, because...
18
· God’s love is wide enough to include every person.
· God’s love is long enough to last through all eternity.
19
· God’s love is deep enough to reach the worst sinner.
· God’s love is high enough to take us to heaven.

3. I pray that you will allow Jesus to be Lord of this church and Lord of your lives so that He will be unleashed to do exceeding, abundant works.

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably
more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory
22
in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout
all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”

There is no limit to what the power of the
Spirit can do in our lives except us.

There are two things to understand about the
exceeding, abundant works of the Spirit.

A. You cannot be in charge of your life and
expect the Spirit to work exceeding, abundant works. Jesus is your LORD, not your servant.

B. The Lord does as much in your life as
YOU allow Him to do

I pray that Ridgecrest will seek to be a
church that brings glory to God and fulfills your ultimate purpose for being here.
