2 Literacy Test or Course
Graduation Courses: /12 Hours: 40 Literacy Test or Course

3 Hours 40 hours of Community Service Must be volunteer
Cannot be in a job that you would normally be paid for If in any doubt check with your Guidance Counsellor Submit completed forms

4 Courses Need: 30 to Graduate 18 Compulsory 12 Electives
Most compulsory courses should be done by the end of Grade 11. Do you have a course from Group 1,2,3? Have you missed any other courses that you must have? Courses Choose courses carefully

5 The 18 compulsory credits are:
4 English 3 Mathematics 2 Science 1 French 1 Canadian Geography (Grade 9) 1 Canadian History (Grade 10) 1 Arts 1 Health & Phys. Ed. 1 Civics & Career Education (1/2 credit each) .

6 Compulsory Credits Cont’d
GROUP 1: 1 additional credit in English, or French as a second language, or a native language, or a classical or an international language, or Social Science and the Humanities, or Canadian and World Studies (Senior Division), or Guidance and Career Education, or Experiential Learning. GROUP 2: 1 additional credit in Health & Phys. Ed., or the Arts, or Business Studies, or Experiential Learning GROUP 3: 1 additional credit in Grade 11 or 12 Science, or Grade 9-12 Technology, Grade 11 or 12 Computer Science or Experiential Learning

7 GRADE 10 COMPULSORY COURSE SELECTION
REQUIRED COURSES - 5 to be selected (Academic or Applied or Locally Developed) ENGLISH MATHEMATICS SCIENCE HISTORY CIVICS (.5) & CAREERS (.5) Except current STEM students

CHOOSE 3 FROM: SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES HEALTH & PHYS. ED. (Male or Female) BUSINESS and COMPUTER STUDIES TECHNOLOGY (Communications, Design, Electricity, Construction, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing, Transportation, Hair, Aesthetics, Hosp.) ARTS (Drama, Dance, Musical Theatre, Visual Arts, Music: band, strings, guitar, vocal) LANGUAGES (French, Arabic, Native, Spanish)

Current Course: Final Mark: Recommended: MAT1L1 MEL3E1 (Workplace) or 90+ MFM1P1 50 – 59 MEL3E1 60 + MFM2P1 85+ MPM1D1 then MPM2D1 Or MFM2P1 then MCF3M1 MPM1D1 50 – 69 70 – 84 MPM2D1 (Academic) MPM2DE (Enriched) Note: Enriched also requires teacher recommendation.
