Something went wrong during exam period? Unable to attend your final exam at the scheduled date and time due to serious misadventure, accident or extenuating circumstance? You may be eligible for Deferred Exam Attended your final exam and entered the exam venue but felt seriously unwell? You are not eligible for Deferred Exam but you may be eligible for Special Consideration Examples of serious extenuating circumstances: a certified medical condition, personal trauma, serious road accident How to apply? ➢ secure official supporting documents (e.g. medical certificate, police report, funeral notice) ➢ apply online via the eForm Portal ➢ apply no later than 5.00pm on the 2nd working day after your scheduled exam ➢ attach supporting documents ➢ wait for the outcome and, if approved, be prepared to sit a deferred exam (usually at Parramatta South campus) ➢ further information here Deferred Exams are NOT granted for: pre-arranged holidays, if you misread your exam timetable, for social, cultural and leisure events NOTE: A deferred exam is not an automatic right but a privilege granted only in exceptional circumstances and when there are supporting documents
