Tachycardia
Fever
Chills
Nausea
Flu-like illness
Severe cases can cause seizures, coma and death
Symptoms occur 7-14 days after exposure

See Dr. Immediately
Malaria can be fatal if not treated in the early stages of the disease.

Prevented by :
Taking anti-malarial drugs prior and during.
Insecticide-treated bed nets
Limit exposure to areas with mosquitoes.
Vaccines currently being researched.
