2 Fulbright (Grad Students)
Fulbright Canada Science, Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Award Offers U.S. students support for three years of doctoral study at one of six leading Canadian research universities (McGill University, Université de Montéal, University of Alberta, University of British Columbia, University of Toronto, and University of Waterloo) in engineering. 3 Fulbright (Grad Students)
Study/Research Grants One academic year of support for study and/or research in academic fields. Applicants propose their own research and/or graduate study project and find their own host affiliation. Grants to study at specific universities are also available for some host countries.

4 Fulbright (Faculty) Core Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program
Sends approximately 800 American scholars and professionals per year to approximately 130 countries, where they lecture and/or conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields.

5 Fulbright (Faculty) Fulbright Specialist Program
Short-term complement to the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program. Sends U.S. faculty and professionals to serve as expert consultants on curriculum, faculty development, institutional planning and related subjects at overseas academic institutions for a period of 2 to 6 weeks.

6 Fulbright (Faculty) Fulbright European Union Scholar-in-Residence (EUSIR) Program EUSIR Program aims to strengthen U.S. expertise in EU Affairs. The program brings scholars and professionals from EU countries to U.S. college and university campuses for semester-long grants to give guest lectures and seminars, consult with faculty and students on research, engage in collaborative study and provide outreach to neighboring institutions and the local community.

7 USDA (Faculty and Staff)
Scientific Cooperation Research Program Supports joint research, extension, and education projects—lasting up to two years—among domestic and international agricultural professionals. Projects address issues including animal and plant health, biotechnology, food safety and security, and sustainable natural resource management.

8 USDA (Faculty) Borlaug Fellowship Program
Helps developing countries strengthen sustainable agricultural practices by providing scientific training and collaborative research opportunities to visiting researchers and university faculty.
