Sir Francis Drake lived from 1540–1596.He was the second person to succesfully circumnavigate the world.
He was a famous circumnavigator in the time period of 1577 to 1580.

3. Facts The famous explorer was from and sailed for England.
Drake was born in Tavistock,England between 1541 and 1543.

4. About Sir Francis Drake
It took Drake a little more than three years to sail around the world.
Drake was worried his ships might get separated from each other so he destroyed two of them.
