2. Module Overview
The module introduces students to the regional organizations engaged in global counter-terrorism efforts.
Includes discussion of five geographical regions: African, Inter-American, Asian, European and Middle Eastern/Gulf.

3. Learning Outcomes
Understand the role of regional organizations and instruments, and differences in their approaches to countering terrorism.
Examine the strengths and weaknesses of regional human rights systems.
Encourage students to develop basic comparative research and analysis skills.
