Notable Policies No late work is accepted
Late work is turned in after I paperclip the stack Absent work is accepted, but it’s the responsibility of your student to find out what they missed and how to make it up. Tests that were given on a day your student was absent must be made up within one calendar week of the original date; then scores will convert to 0. Textbooks must be brought to class every day unless I say otherwise. Books may not be left in the classroom.

Generic No-Homework Email
Hello, This is to let you know that your student came to class without his/her homework complete today. Per my late work policy, I do not accept late assignments, so your student will receive a 0 on this assignment. Please talk to your student about this, and make sure that s/he doesn’t continue coming to class without homework done, so that s/he can be as successful as possible in this class. Thank you, Mrs. Foster English 2

What do your students need?
They still need parents Check in with them about homework Check my teacher webpage for information about assignments & due dates If they have made a mistake, do not let them blame anyone other than themselves We all need to be on the same page
