2. Blue Emergency Card
The Blue Emergency card will go to the NURSE’S room. For now you can put it in the red bin or have your student return it later this week.
Emergency kits are returned at the end of the year if not used.
In about a month (or two), you will be asked to double check the information we have on file for you in the OFFICE (blue card is not used in the office information).
This form will be computer generated and if all the information is correct, just turn back in; otherwise, update the information and return ASAP.

3. Supplies Community Supplies Personal Supplies
Please place any community supplies on the large table in the corner.

Please place items inside the desk.
Extra things can remain in your backpack for now.

4. Why do we use Folders and Binders?
This year, we will have several worksheets to supplement our learning in different subjects. It takes too much time to glue them on a page or find them in a folder.
Folders will usually hold things to go home or projects for class.
Binders will be provided, but are not to keep.

5. Backpacks and Jackets
Backpacks/Jackets will be hung on the wall in our room. Each student will have their own hook.
Less classroom space taken up and less distraction
Binders and folders will be kept in the students’ desks—neater, easily accessible, more organized, quieter, and safer.

6. Safety First SPACE IN THE CLASSROOM IS LIMITED.
WITH A FULL CLASS—TABLES AND FLOOR MUST BE KEPT CLEAR OF EXCESS ITEMS.

7. Water Bottles Are Allowed Some Requests: --Use a reusable bottle from home (plastic bottles begin to dry and make cracking sounds which distracts) --Bring the bottle home and wash it frequently --Sip occasionally—do not “baby bottle” (hold it to your mouth and suck on it for long periods of time). --If you have to use the restroom more than once between breaks, you are drinking too much. --Only have water—besides being unhealthy, sugar drinks spill and mess up papers.
