in movies, on tv, in real life. However . . .

3 CODE SWITCH! There are many places where profanity are simply not acceptable.

4 ALERT! There may be varied responses for these!
DISCUSS! ALERT! There may be varied responses for these! Would using or hearing profanity be ok (or considered “normal”) in the following places:

Would using or hearing profanity be ok (or considered “normal”) . . . In a place of worship? (a service, a wedding, a funeral)

6 DISCUSS! In a Rated R movie?
Would using or hearing profanity be ok (or considered “normal”) . . . In a Rated R movie? Please do NOT give us an example! :-/

7 DISCUSS! In a Rated PG-13 movie?
Would using or hearing profanity be ok (or considered “normal”) . . . In a Rated PG-13 movie?

8 DISCUSS! In a Rated PG or G movie?
Would using or hearing profanity be ok (or considered “normal”) . . . In a Rated PG or G movie?

9 DISCUSS! On TV? Cable/non-cable?

14 Code Switching Even though profanity or swearing may be “normal” in some places with some people, At Sennett . . .

15 Profanity and swearing are not welcome at school!
Make the “code switch!” We want to be a profanity-free zone!

Think about what you are saying. Know where you are, and what’s appropriate!
