Understanding Sessions in Finish Agent
2
Session Start Dates Finish Agent is designed to work in
28 day, ongoing “Sessions” We recommend that you begin your sessions on a Monday Session Start Dates are set per Program Every Program has its own Session Start Date Each Program can have a different Session Start Date Every Group under a Program starts on the same date Remember Algebra 101? Everyone taking Algebra 101 uses the same materials, has the same requirements for completion, starts on the same date and ends on the same date for that semester. Programs work on this premise.

Session Start Dates WHY 28 DAY SESSIONS?
Psychologically, people do better with short-term, focused goals (but keeping the big picture in mind) days = 4 weeks. Participants always know exactly when a Session ends, and that it starts on the same day of the week every 4 weeks 3. Groups run continuously, without stopping for holidays or vacations 4. 28 day billing cycle means you get paid for 13 cycles per year, instead of 12!
4
Session Start Dates WHY ONGOING SESSIONS?
People crave being in community with others – short term programs don’t provide that 2. Members form relationships and rely on each other for support and resources, taking much of the responsibility off of you 3. The availability of the software and system over weekends and holidays allows users to work whenever they choose, without restrictions 4. You aren’t tied to a repeating (costly) launch schedule – the entry into your programs can be evergreen
5
Session Start Dates You set the Session Start Date (We recommend starting on a Monday). 2. The earliest Session Start date you may setup is one day after you create a Program 3. The system calculates the Session End Date – this cannot be changed 4. You may suspend a Program if there is no Participant activity recorded, and if the Session is not closed 5. You may “unsuspend” a Program and reset the Session Start Date (reinstate previous Groups or create new Groups)
