IMAGINE THIS… You come home from your friends house and when you arrive, you see that the women of your household have been murdered or kidnapped

BACKGROUND Aboriginal women have been murdered or have gone missing ever since THE 1960s. 1000+ women have gone missing and murdered since 1960s. Murders became more frequent during the 1980s.

How does this violate the charter of rights and freedoms
Legal rights Fundamental freedoms Equality rights The Right to life Murdering aboriginal women violates the right to life because by murdering the women, their lives are being wasted and they no longer have the ability to live. Freedom of conscience and religion because the murderers murder them because they don’t agree with their beliefs and religion. Everyone is equal before and under the law This violates equality rights because women are being murdered due to their sex, and their ethnicity.
