Students will then turn and check their answers with their neighbor. Finally there will be a whole class check-in

Closing: Oct. 13, 2015 Explain in your own words how the division algorithm works. The division algorithm shows successive (one after the other) estimates of the quotient organized by place value, …..other answers…… the division algorithm breaks one large division problem into several smaller ones organized by place value.
