What is moodle? Moodle is a course management system (CMS), a free, Open Source software package designed using sound pedagogical principles, to help educators create effective online learning communities.

(cont.) -Moodle has a large and diverse user community with over 50,000 users registered in this site alone, speaking 60 languages in 115 countries. - The word moodle was originally an acronym for Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning System, which is mostly useful to programmers and educations theorists
