The Contherm Biosyn Series of Plant Growth Chambers create a complete artificial environment for biotech research.
The chambers come in a range of sizes from 1200L to 12000L and have an air-cooled light barrier with a large number of Metal halide lamps to ensure an even spatial light distribution.
Temperatures from 0oC - 40oC and light levels up to 650uE can be obtained at 900mm from the light barrier.

Temperature calibration may be performed via the front panel buttons. By entering a special calibration mode the display may be adjusted to register the same value as a certified thermometer, the resulting ‘CAL FACTOR’ will be shown and should be recorded for future reference.
The CO2 sensor may be put into an AUTO-CAL mode where the CO2 solenoid is inhibited and the CO2 display ‘Flashes’ until a suitable baseline has been found for the thermal conductivity sensors. When the baseline is stable the display will cease to ‘Flash’ and the solenoid will be alloed to bring the CO2 concentration up to the desired level.
The capacitive humidity sensor is factory precalibrated and requires no further adjustment to give a typical accuracy of +- 5% RH.
