2 Tessellations A good example of Tessellation is in laid brickwork like the kind you may see in a high street or on a driveway. It can be used in tiling. Can you see a hexagon type of shape over the brick work? This has been added to help you see that each individual brick is the same. Its the way they have been joined in groups of three that make a hexagon type pattern The shape/pattern becomes a continuous design without any gaps
