Stressed Thinking It is possible to change all of these, as they are perceptions, not reality Perception of situation/stimulus as a threat or problem Belief that coping resources are not adequate to deal Use of coping strategies that don’t help the situation Increased feelings of control, and more effective coping behaviour.
