The transfer of thermal energy by direct contact between objects.

A substance that allows energy to flow through it.

4. Convection
heat transferred by the circulation or movement of a liquid or gas. (fluids)

5. Electrical
When an electrical source is connected in a complete circuit to an electrical device  

6. Electromagnetic Waves
can transmit energy through matter or empty space. Example: sunlight

7. Equilibrium
the point at which two objects that are touching reach the same temperature.

8.  Generator
A machine that produces electricity by changing energy of motion into electrical energy.

9. Heat
A form of energy that is transferred by a difference in temperature.

When objects pull or push on each other

The total kinetic energy due to the motion of the atoms in a substance

a material that does not transfer thermal or electrical energy very well.
