1 Hey Jude Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, To those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ: Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

2 Hey Jude For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

3 Hey Jude In Matthew 7:15 Jesus speaks about men like this.
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” In Acts 15, Paul write about the “Judaizers”. He warns of those who say: “Yes will have grace and Mercy, But you also need to do this also.” What ever this is…..works, send money, and whatever. As if Christ’s Blood was not enough!

4 Hey Jude In verses 5 thru 19, Jude gives examples of Old Testament people like what he is writing about. 1. Destroyed the unbelievers after leaving Egypt. 2. Sodom and Gomorrah - need I say more. 3. The Archangel Michael and the devil. The devil had the power of death until Christ conquered him on the cross, God intervened. 4. Cain – murdered his bother – jealously. 5. Balaam – for personal gain. 6. Korah – rebellion.

5 Hey Jude In verses 20 thru 24, Jude gives us 7 practices that guarantee security in our walk as Christians: 1. Building up our faith by prayer in the Holy Spirit. 2. Keep ourselves in the love of God. 3. Have compassion, making a difference. 4. Save others…lead them to Christ. 5. Pull them out of the fire of Hell…tell them of Christ. 6. Tell of the forgiveness of sin through Christ. 7. Have EXCEEDING JOY in Christ, who saved YOU.

6 And he finishes his letter with a blessing:
Hey Jude And he finishes his letter with a blessing: To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.
