2. Ideas for Investigations
Think of measurable properties (also called factors or variables)
– e.g. temperature, time, length, mass etc
Think of situations where two of these might be related
Think of how you could in investigate this type of situation safely in a laboratory

3. Completing the Investigation Booklet
Answer fully, but keep your answer brief
Label all diagrams
Tables should have headings and units
Graphs should have labelled scales with units

4. Be careful with - Aim should mention two variables
Hypothesis needs direction
Measurements should be repeated and an average taken
Graphs should use average values
Only one investigation can use a bar chart
