In my role, I spend a lot of time on the network visiting depots and looking at ways to improve them. I spend a lot of time with our client, Highways England, undertaking quarterly reviews and business cases on a yearly basis.
I currently have 80 businesses cases to review.
Part of my job role is to answer queries from third parties who ask for statistical requests regarding our network such as UK Power Network, Gas, phone companies and also lighting and drainage issues.
I am also called upon to support all of the team when we have bigger schemes in operation.
Mine is a diverse role where you learn lots of different things and visit the network and work closely with the operatives and supervisors at the depots and help to make changes for them and ultimately, the travelling public.
