1. Lord Jesus, we praise you because Although you are truly God,
You did not try to remain
equal with God.
Instead you gave up everything
and became a slave,
and became
like one of us.
You were humble,
You obeyed God and even died
on a cross.
We praise you because God has given you
the highest place,

and honoured your name
