10. 10 The Project (II) (II) The fit out design >Developed in parallel with the strip out (and beyond!) >Based round flexibility, innovation and interaction of staff >Was phased according to business and scientific priority >Executed round existing laboratory envelopes >Opened up blocked areas > Maximised atria usage

11. 11 Major Issues During Construction Design was done on the fly M & E design could not keep up with the programme Sticking to the programme once it was set Scientific priorities changed so the design had to keep up with those changes Merger with MedImmune part way through! Budget Co ordination
