5. Revising Strategies (For homework.)
Read your paper before you press the submit button.
Have your friend/roommate/mom/dad read the paper.
Read the paper to your dog, cat, fish, or sloth.
Read the paper.

6. Revising Strategies
Read the paper out loud backwards, going sentence by sentence.
If you have any trouble reading a phrase, chances are it should be revised.
If you are pausing in places, think about comma usage.
If you are winded from reading so much without a pause, consider punctuation.

7. Revising Strategies
Wait a few hours and get the paper out of your mind before reading it.
Watch a ballet recital, go to the gym, play Pokemon, watch a makeup tutorial, then come back and try to look at the essay with a fresh set of eyes.
Read your essay before submitting it.

8. Revising Strategies
I suggest you make multiple copies when revising so that if you liked something you did earlier, you are able to retrieve it.

Please submit your full rough draft to Blackboard if you haven’t done so already.
You will not get credit for the workshop
If you do not submit your rough draft.

10. The Workshop Spend 14 minutes reading/marking/answering the questions.
Spend 6 minutes talking about each other’s paper.
Lather, rinse, and repeat 2 times.
