Introductions, summary of 2014 Membership Survey and session conduction
Public Policy Public policy was the key priority area for our members. Public policy was regarded as the top 1 or 2 priorities by 96% of members responding Networking & Business Development The second priority of members is split quite evenly between those seeking to increase networking outcomes through their membership, and those seeking to create business development opportunities for their members Association Development The third priority area

Introductions, summary of 2014 Membership Survey and session conduction
WITSA Meetings Overwhelming agreement that WITSA should make its meetings more interactive by fostering roundtable discussion, sharing knowledge and experience between members. The Secretariat will strive to reduce time spent on Administrative matters in order to foster more interaction Communications Survey respondents suggested that WITSA improve its communications by providing more of it. Members asked for more information regarding committee activities and public policy. WITSA will strive to increase communications on its programs and initiatives to members

Session 4: Strategic Objectives
To accomplish positioning WITSA as the lead recognized voice of ICT industry on a Global scale To strengthen WITSA´s capabilities in public policy design so its recommendations are considered as valuable input to set industry positions on ICT key issues globally To position WITSA as the strongest Global ICT industry representative at all relevant multilateral forums To diversify sources of revenue for WITSA that will allow financial sustainability in the medium and long term To strengthen corporate governance by promoting more involvement from WITSA Officers, including Regional Vice Chairs, Executive Committee and Standing Committees as well as from key roles like Treasurer and Deputy Chairman

Conclusions and next step towards the Business Plan development
Complement Strategic Objectives approved by Board Directors attending the Workshop with input provided by priority requests from mebers Use the above input to reflect it in the 2016 Business Plan and to design the plan in accordance to the Vision, Mission, Values and Strategic Objectives agreed at this Workshop 2016 Budgetitems and allocated amounts should include the agreed Strategic Definitions
