(f) Pulsed-field gel electrophoresis: the patterns in lanes 1–3 were considered identical. (g, h) AP-PCR using enterobacterial repetitive intergenic consensus (ERIC) -1R and ERIC-2R, respectively. Patterns of arbitrarily primed-PCR were considered to be identical for lanes 1–3, which were clearly different from the type strains and random M. abscessus laboratory isolates.
