Welcome to the resource room
Welcome to the resource room. I am so excited about getting to know you and your child. It is my hope that through open parent-teacher communication we can make this a very meaningful year. If you ever have a question please contact me at school or through E- mail. Welcome One Hundred Years from now It will not matter what kind of car I drove, What kind of house I lived in, how much money was in my bank account nor what my clothes looked like. But the world may be a better place because I was important in the life of a child (excerpt from "Within My Power" by Forest Witcraft)

School Times School starts at 8:45 a.m.
Only students enrolled in before hours will be allowed in before 8:30 You will be charged if your student shows up earlier than this time. Breakfast begins at 8:30 School dismisses at 3:45 p.m. Please indicate how you child will be getting home during the week and on Friday (early release). Late Arrivals/Early Pickups
After 8:45 the student must check in at the office. This is considered tardy. Early pickups must be checked out at the office. No child will be released from the room before the bell unless they are called to the office.

Visitors All visitors must check in at the office.
Visitors are not allowed on the playground. Visitors must have their name tag visible. Visitors are welcome to our classroom to volunteer and to eat with your child. You must have a background check before volunteering begins. Volunteers! Watch Dogs No Homemade snacks Reading with students

Rewards Dojo Points will be used for Rewards list Earn Dojos by:

What we will be working on:
“New Math” This will come in the form of a problem set, exit ticket and homework. Not all of these pages will be completed every day and some lessons may be completed over two days. Reading and Writing Workshops Students will be responsible for a writing folder and reading notebook Word Work Guided reading groups Various journal entries will be made in the composition notebooks. These entries will include: -How we relate to the character. - What we can infer from reading (the things the author does not explicitly say to us). - Answering various questions regarding events in the story.

Exit Ticket Fluency Homework Problem set
This could either be the homework page, fluency page or the exit ticket. The problem set will be stapled to the homework page for reference. This will help your student complete their homework. Homework Problem set
