Make the best fit job openings a high priority: Balance between current, stretch, and contingency job targets. Most jobs should be in the current job target category. Don’t focus only on dream jobs. Caution: Dress Like You Have the Job
Be neat. Even nice clothes look unattractive when they are stained, wrinkled, or covered with dog hair. Pay attention to good hygiene. Simple things matter. For example, use mouthwash and clean under your fingernails. Avoid revealing or tight clothing. Showing skin is not appropriate in most workplaces. Avoid showing body art. Leave athletic wear in your gym bag (unless your job will be at a gym!). Don’t risk offending by wearing political or religious slogans or advertisements. Find Job Openings

You, Online Finding Quality Job Leads: Networking in the 21st Century
With so many options, it is easy to get overwhelmed. Try submitting resumes through the popular Indeed, Monster, LinkedIn®, and company websites. Set up alerts on job search engines to alert you to new job opening in your career field. Find names of people associated with job listings or employees of that company and contact them directly. In your cover letter, name employees you are connected with through social networking. Find Job Openings
