Critical change is deemed when one of the following parameters are changed in the MV90 Master file:
# of Channels
UOM per Channel
Direction of Power Flow
Intervals per Hour
Pulse Multiplier
Meter Multiplier
NEW registration process designed to handle pulse multiplier and meter multiplier changes
Applicable only for Compliant Meter Installations

3. Versioning of Master Files
Meter ki changes (pulse multiplier) and CT tap changes (meter multiplier) nolonger require re-registration of the meter installation
Process involves IMO versioning of the master file - master file history is maintained
MPID is maintained for the life of the installation
First 3 weeks of historical estimated data is lost - occurs everytime the masterfile is versioned
Savings of approx. $10k per meter point registration
Market Manual 3.2 will be updated at next baseline
