Planning for group presentations on Thursday and Friday
I can identify how the nervous and endocrine systems aid in whole-body communication and teach key concepts to others. Planning for group presentations on Thursday and Friday Understand and ask any questions on the content you have been assigned Create specific roles for each group member in this presentation – get contact information of group members ( /etc.) - How are you keeping contact? (Google Docs/Slides, video chat, group messages) set a time by which your first draft is to be completed, so that there is no panicking! Find a way to shorten the content, or add media (video/pics/etc) Find out which learning objectives apply to your slides. (see class website files) – (NOT the essential knowledge or Big Idea!) – Use Chapter Determine what the most relevant points are in your assigned slides (use Learning Objectives to figure this out as needed; posted on class website as pdf) - Choose key images/diagrams/terms that everyone must understand – your presentations will be capped to mins! Draft an outline of what your presentation will look like – CANNOT simply use the original PPT Must modify Find additional sources online – multimedia/articles/others (NOT WIKIPEDIA) Figure out ways to check if peers understood your lesson
