Home Page CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM Objectives Identify the parts of the heart and the pathway of the blood through cardiopulmonary circulation. Describe how peripheral resistance, (e.g. blood vessel diameter, viscosity and vessel length) affects blood flow through resistance. Identify and explain the effect of blood borne vasoconstriction factors like Epinephrine, Angiotensin II Vasopressin on blood vessels. Explain how diseases like arteriosclerosis reduce the vessel elasticity and the effect of vessel elasticity on blood pressure. Analyze the effects of decreasing or increasing blood volume and its correlation on blood pressure

There are two Circulatory Pathways: systemic circulation, pulmonary circulation. First click on the video and have students take guided notes. Pulmonary circulation involve the flow of blood poor in Oxygen from the right chambers into the lungs.
