Solution
If statements do not end with ; and all statements associated with if statement needs to be in curly braces.
Student notices the yellow x and program may not work correctly.

Student notices the program does not seem to work. Motors do not turn on when button is pushed
If statements do not end While loops need the {} to determine what behavior needs to be repeated.

Go back to Motors and Sensor Setup to find correct name. Also double check that ; are used.
Student notices the program wont download because there are errors. Student used wrong name for light sensor.

Sometimes RobotC starts up in a different config. Double check the platform type to ensure Natural Language PLTW is selected – or whatever library you chose.
Student complains that program worked yesterday, but does not today – And they insist they have done nothing.

Cant seem to identify what the problem is. Everything looks fine, there are not red or yellow X’s, but it still does not seem to work
Re-download the master firmware and the update the cortex.
