17 Grant Submissions Remember to showcase your innovative responses to community need, your strengths, and how you are supporting the Strathcona County Social Framework Call with any questions (e.g. you have 10 collaborators and only space for 3 on the application) Provide a paper copy of your application to Family and Community Services Deadline is 4:30 p.m. Nov. 7 Successful applicants will be published at Strathcona.ca All applicants will be contacted in early fall 2019 regarding the Community Grants Learning Community Event 2/22/2019

18 Some Final Thoughts Project Description Active Voice: References:
Be clear and concise; provide only the information relevant to the questions. Define acronyms, and avoid jargon. Write to suggested word limits; “sometimes more is less”. Active Voice: “We will help runaway children” vs. “Runaway children will be helped by us”. References: Where stating statistics or research, reference your sources of evidence. Proofreaders: Ask others outside your program / project to read for clarity and accuracy. 2/22/2019
