In the WRITING section of your notebook, label this entry “Bellringer 1/7: Fixed and Growth Mindsets.” Then, respond to the following questions in complete sentences: What is neuroplasticity and why is it so cool? What kind of mindset do I have if I think that intelligence is something that a person is born with? What kind of mindset do I have if I think that intelligence can be grown and/or developed?

5 Growth Mindset On a sheet of paper you will turn in, respond to the following questions in complete sentences: What is the benefit of having a “growth mindset” throughout life? In what ways have you had a “fixed mindset” in the past, and how has that affected you? Please provide at least one specific example. What is one specific way you will work on having a “growth mindset” this semester? How will you work on this? How will doing so benefit you?

I don’t get this. My teacher doesn’t teach well, so I don’t care. I will learn a lot from reading this. I will grow my brain power when I complete this task. I will make the best of a difficult situation and learn whatever I can.
