Critically Evaluating Sources
Questions to Ask About Sources Library Reference Materials Textbooks Websites Magazine and Newspapers Is it up-to-date? Is it objective? (factual rather than an opinion) Is it complete or only a brief excerpt on a topic? Is it credible, from a reliable source? Is it firsthand information? You need to be able to recognize and read standardized citations.
