School Improvement Planning Key Points
There are tools and resources to support both you and the SIP chair as role of “knowledge authority”. The CNA has moved from 5 components to 4. The instructional practices data component and program data component have been combined to create an overall process data component. The components overlap and inform the overall priorities. Data should be written in the form of trend data statements. Priority concerns are based on student achievement and turn in to your SMART goals. In order to avoid casual selection of strategies, taking the time to mine evidence-based best practices in imperative.

The very best teachers(20%) On average, they help students learn two to three additional months worth of math and reading compared to average teacher, and five to six months more compared to low-performing teachers. Students are more likely to go to college and earn higher salaries as adults Provide more engaging learning experience for students
