International Student experience: providing quality campus living, spaces for collaboration, learning Comprehensive internationalisation of universities Quality and standards: needs to be top priority for universities and data driven Changing perceptions of international students: role for IRU?

Learning Developing a newly capable academic workforce: development/recruitment; care/resilience; workload Develop a new compelling contemporary narrative about what universities do: should look at this across the IRU Reconceptualise experiment with ideas of spaces and places of all types: experiment and share risk across IRU network to look at new ideas (eg develop “warts and all” case studies)

Research Funding and tax: R&D tax incentive reform; Cat 2/3 funding; industry; govt/NFPs Industry: industry advocating for universities; industry “Colombo Plan” for students; industry sabbaticals; seamless university/industry HDRs, postdocs and industry workers Raised profile of research and its impact
