Current Activity to Support Neglect and Poverty in Suffolk
NSPCC Graded Care Profile 2 Tool – Over 600 people trained since October 2016 Child Poverty Strategy 2015 – (Initiatives include: Fit and Fed, Period Poverty, Fuel Poverty/Warm Homes) Revised Neglect Strategy Neglect Strategy Action Plan Fit and Fed is a scheme for year old children in the Ipswich Academy, Westbourne Academy and Chantry Academy areas in Ipswich running across the school holiday period. The Poverty Strategy will sits with the new Localities and Partnership Business Plan for 2019/20. Of course, this is not withstanding the extensive case work taking place in CYP and partner agencies to work with and support children and families living with and experiencing neglect.
