People tend to be fearful of what they don’t understand.
This can lead to speculative condemnatory thinking, such as associating skulls with evil or the devil.
When we take the time to comprehend what people believe and how those beliefs manifest themselves in the way they behave (customs & traditions) and the products they create, we create connections that lead to relationships based on understanding and tolerance for ideas different from our own.
Relationships based on respect for ideas different from our own can lead to peace!
