Bellringer Consider this scenario: At a local sandwich shop, an African American teenage boy is making disparaging remarks about one of the clerks working in the shop. The clerk, who is a Muslim from Pakistan, hears the boy’s comments but continues to serve customers. The boy, who keeps up his offensive comments about the clerk, wants a sandwich but does not want the Pakistani clerk to take his order. You are the next customer in line, directly in front of the boy. What do you do, and why?
