1 Vocabulary of Sex

2 Prayer Journal “Maybe I’m a little old fashioned, but why do people do something which could ... lock you into something that you don’t want, or leave you with more responsibility than you might be able to handle is beyond me. Sex is natural, but without placing moral restraints upon ourselves, we become the animals we pride ourselves on being superior to.” “What can be wrong with having sex when you’re fifteen if you truly care about the person, it’s a wonderful experience for both of you, and you love each other before and after sex.” “Sex is sacred. It is of the utmost importance to me, so that’s why I am still a virgin” What’s your reaction to these quotes? Why would God tell these people not to have sex before marriage? The Bible teaches that sex creates a bond that thrives only in marriage. Do you think that’s true?

3 Activity Based on your answers, create an anonymous opinion statement on this topic: Sex is… This is to be handed in.

Chastity: Is a lifestyle that brings freedom, respect, peace, and even romance – without regret. Chastity frees a couple from the selfish attitude of using each other as objects, thus making them capable of true love. Chastity sets limits – freeing the couple from pressures and expectations.
