2 Heritage Council Community Grant Scheme
Annual Grant Scheme for Community/NGO-led projects - 'bottom-up approach' Open to: Not-for-profit voluntary and community groups, and heritage-related NGOs. Funding: Max. 75% of the total project expenditure, ≤ €8,000

3 Heritage Council Community Grant Scheme
What kind of project can apply: Training / Demonstrations Seminars Community Heritage Websites Conservation reports/management plans Surveys and audits (habitats, graveyards, monuments) Conservation works: building repairs/habitats/objects

4 Heritage Council Community Grant Scheme
Deadline for applications early Feb (5pm 9th Feb 2018) Mid-April – informed if grant application successful Must run an event during Heritage Week 18th – 26th Aug. (budget for cost of event). Works carried out under this grant scheme must be completed by 16 November 2018.

5 Westmeath County Council Cemetery Grant Scheme
Open to: Local Community Groups Maximum €750 or 90% of costs Labour costs not grant funded Eligible works: Cemetery maintenance Recording Schemes Conservation Reports/Studies Open March apply by April Complete works by Oct/Nov. Intention to pay up front (TBC)

Creative Ireland Arts, Heritage, Libraries Apply by 15th March 2018

7 Built Heritage Built Heritage Investment Scheme (BHIS): Protected Structure/s Apply by 31st January, works to be completed Oct Up to 50% of costs - €2,500-€15,000 Roof repairs Repair/replace gutters/downpipes Repair External walls, doors & windows Internal features: floors, walls, staircases, ceilings Improve energy efficiency Works to be carried out by/ on advice of Conservation Professional

8 Structures at Risk Fund (SARF)
Built Heritage Structures at Risk Fund (SARF) Structures (not just RPS) in URGENT need of repair Does not cover routine maintenance 80% of the total project cost €15,000- €30,000 Full costing & Method Statement required Works to be completed late Oct. All works to be carried out by/ on advice of Conservation Professional

9 Irish Georgian Society Conservation Grants Programme
Built Heritage Grants Irish Georgian Society Conservation Grants Programme National Fund of €50,000 For conservation works to structures of significant architectural merit Deadline for applications: 5pm Fri 23rd February
