Criteria: Collaborate to design a stand/platform that will support one mini pumpkin Your pumpkin must be a minimum of 12 inches above the table or floor Pumpkin stand must support your pumpkin without falling over Create a Halloween sign to be displayed on your pumpkin platform Differentiation: Students can work independently Step by step instructions on the board EQ: Can you design and create a stand/platform to support a mini pumpkin or gourd? Resources: STEM Bettes Materials: Zoobs, mini pumpkins/gourds, index cards for sign, popsicle stick, tape, ruler Lesson: Students will design and create a stand/platform to support a mini pumpkin.

Platform must support your mini pumpkin and not fall over D. A Halloween sign must be displayed on your platform Materials: 1 box of Zoobs building units 1 mini pumpkin or gourd 1 popsicle stick 1 note card tape ruler EQ: Can you design and create a stand/platform to support a mini pumpkin or gourd?
