Information systems support business operations and decision making. Today, driven by basic changes in how business is done, information technology and information services strategy may be the single biggest determinant of a company’s future success. The person who understands and manages information systems plays a pivotal role in the organization. Career Opportunities Management Information Systems prepares students to design, implement, and manage business information systems. This major provides background in programming language, software for mainframe and microcomputers, database systems, and systems analysis and design.
