Helpful Hints:
Do not throw out anything unless lab tells you
Lock your lab drawers with product safely stored
Use forceps for ph paper so it does not get contaminated
Be sure to keep beaker under hood

4. Review of pre-lab
2b. Decantation – a process for the separation of mixtures by carefully pouring off the liquid without disturbing the participate 2d. Precipitate = Solid that forms from a reaction of aqueous solutions 2f. Supernatant liquid - the clear liquid above a precipitate 3. Molarity = moles solute/liter solution 8a. Filtrate is blue because Cu2+ is present 8b. Do not discard the filtrate because Cu2+ is present 8d. How might a blue color in the filtrate be avoided? Add excess Na3PO4 to react all the Cu2+
