WABOLL (What A Bad One Looks Like)
Today’s Date: 22 February 2019 WABOLL (What A Bad One Looks Like) The fire is hot and there’s lots of smoke. The fireman looks like the water’s cooling him down. The truck is on fire. The abysmal abyss, the void of shadows eloquently erupts, evolving into an absence. Sandra was tall and slim with long blonde hair and blue eyes. He was a deadly ninja assassin who’d been told to kill the presidents of two countries using his deadly skills. Chris Steel dropped from the helicopter clutching all his guns and knives… The orcs had over-run the camp, feasting on human flesh with their goblin allies. The wizards had been unable to turn the tide of battle The space-ship zoomed across the horizon, lasers flashing as they zapped the aliens from the sky, their tentacles landing sizzling on the planet below. Mandy was sad. She felt insecure because of the bullies. They’d ruined every day of her life until she felt like crying inside. She knew she was special, but no-one seemed to understand her. What’s WRONG with these examples?

Today’s Date: 22 February 2019 There’s a yellow-brown scrub of undergrowth outside the house, scruffy as an untended beard. It smells dry and powdery. The leaves shiver as I pass, fallen ones crinkling below my toes like unwanted paper.
