1)Better understand the class structure and policy by review the quiz. Please have your class policy quiz on the right corner of your desk. 2) Learn different ways to study foreign language by sharing their surveys. (Teacher gives back the surveys) 3) Pronounce each other’s Chinese names. 4) Be more comfortable on greeting each other.

Four people form a group. Give your quiz to the person on your right to grade. Each question is 2 points(total 20points). The students may get partial credits. Discuss the quiz within your group. Call your teacher for assistant if your group can’t decide. Give the quiz to your teacher and start your next activity on move-up day survey. Four people form a group. Share your move-up day survey in a group. Each group will be assigned 2 questions from the survey. Each group will discuss and write their answers on a given large paper. Step5: you may have 2 or 3 characters in your name. Please do one at a time.

9 Day-2 Homework 1. Put day 2’s handout (PPT handout, Class name list) into your folder or keep them together with your 3-hole binder. 2. Optional- Use recommended online learning tools or Google Translate to find the meaning of each character of your Chinese name. 3. Optional-You may re-take the class policy quiz if your score is below 18/20. But the re-take grade will be your best grade * 89%
