Hi! My name is Mrs. Burwell! I will be your child’s 2nd grade teacher for the school year! This will be my 4th year teaching at Bayou View Elementary. My first year I assisted in the B.O.O.S.T. program then co-taught Kindergarten with Mrs. Chambliss. This will be my third year to teach second grade, and I am so excited to share this year with your child!

I grew up in Gulfport, MS where I attended Bayou View Elementary. I then attended Bayou View Middle School before graduating from Gulfport High School in 2011.
