4. Tension with Colonies
Massachusetts’ charter was revoked after colonial merchants resisted English authority.
It became a royal colony
Dominion of New England was created by King James II by uniting all colonies from Maine to NJ.
Sir Edmund Andros created more problems in the colonies
Glorious Revolution changed the situation.
